Frequently asked questions
Learn some stuff
What are your hours?
10 am to 10pm - 7 days a week. Closed most holidays. Sessions must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
What happens if we go over our time?
To ensure a seamless transition between podcasts, we've implemented a 15-minute buffer both before and after each session. We understand that discussions may extend a bit, and that's perfectly fine. However, we kindly request that you be mindful of concluding on time to avoid any overlap with the next podcaster's session. If your session surpasses the allocated time by more than 15 minutes, you will be charged in 30 minute intervals based on the hourly rate your session was originally booked for. Your cooperation in adhering to these time guidelines is greatly appreciated.
What is your rescheduling policy?
Feel free to reschedule at your convenience by clicking the "reschedule" link in your booking confirmation email. Should you need to reschedule within 48 hours of your session, please reach out to us via call or email. A late reschedule fee of $25 will apply in such cases, while a late cancellation will result in NO REFUND. There is NO REFUND for either rescheduling or cancelling within 24 hours.
Can I have someone call in using zoom, skype, etc?
Yes. We can connect your guest using zoom, skype, or just a regular phone call. If your remote guest has a webcam we can get their video on the podcast as well. In addition, we have a mobile 40 inch HD TV SCREEN that we can project the zoom caller onto, so the host can see them in real time while maintaining the correct eye line to camera.
How do I get my files?
Receive your files promptly within 72 hours via email, accompanied by Google Drive links for easy downloading. You'll find your Mp3, Mp4 (for video sessions), and Wav files included. Please ensure immediate download, as the Google links have an expiration, and we retain files on our end for a duration of 2 weeks for storage purposes. We encourage you to bring an SD card or hard drive to your session for immediate access to your files. The RAW files from these cameras can be very large, and if you want them, please bring a large hard drive. Each camera shooting 4k for 1 hour can hover around 100GB per hour.
What if we start late?
We aim to be flexible with time constraints. While we strive to accommodate late starts by extending your recording time, please be aware that if there's a podcast scheduled immediately after yours, we may need to adhere to the designated end time for room turnover. If you anticipate a significant delay, it's advisable to inform the studio promptly. In such cases, rescheduling might be the most efficient solution. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
What is your cancellation policy?
You are always welcome to reschedule a canceled session. See our rescheduling policy for more info there. In general, we do not offer refunds on cancellations, but you are always welcome to reschedule your canceled session. We will consider a refund if your cancellation/refund request is done within 48 hours of the time of your initial booking.
How many people can be in the studio?
We have 6 mics available. We can accommodate up to 6 total on-air guests in the studio, and up to 3 other guests in our lobby or studio.
Do you record 4K?
Yes. 4K is available for your video session upon request. To opt for 4K recording, kindly inform your engineer in advance and bring your own SD card or hard drive for a seamless transfer of the larger files directly to you. 4k files are too large to be sent to you via a Google Drive link. Please note that the RAW files from these cameras can be very large, so plan accordingly. One hour of filming can hover around 100gb. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Do I need to bring anything?
Not if you don't want to! If you have a logo or graphics you'd like displayed, you may email the file ahead of time or bring an SD card / hard drive for us to pull it from. In addition, if you have any notes or production elements you'd like to incorporate into your recording please inform the studio prior to your session so we are prepared ahead of time to provide you with your customized experience. Rest assured, we handle the entire production process from start to finish, eliminating any concerns on your end.
Can you help me post my podcast to iTunes, YouTube, etc?
Absolutely! We have a team of podcast professionals that can take care of all your post production needs. Give us a call or book a consultation to discuss the details!
If I choose to live camera switch, can I edit the files later myself?
Our studio engineers live camera switch to edit the show in real time, which merges all of the audio and video files. So the answer is NO, our engineers can not go back and re-edit the file. The only way you can re-edit your episode is if you bring a hard drive and take the RAW files from the camera to bring back home to edit yourself after the session is complete.
Please Note
Reserve your podcast recording slot now! Every session you reserve comes with a built-in 15-minute grace period before and after your scheduled time slot, ensuring a smooth setup and wrap-up for your podcast. While refunds are not available, you can easily reschedule if needed. Plus, you'll have the dedicated assistance of an experienced in-studio engineer throughout your session! If you run past your scheduled time, you will be charged in 30 minute intervals based on the hourly rate your session was originally booked for.
